Data & Storage

Missing rolls or shots

First, don't panic! Data is usually recoverable.

  1. Pull down to refresh on main screen
  2. Check "All Rolls" not just "Active"
  3. Look in Archive if you may have archived them
  4. Check iCloud.com for backup data
  5. Contact support with approximate dates

Storage full warnings

  • • Export completed rolls to free space
  • • Delete cached preview images: Settings → Storage
  • • Archive old rolls to iCloud
  • • Check iPhone storage: Settings → General → Storage

Export Problems

EXIF data not showing in exported images

  1. Verify export format supports EXIF (JPEG/TIFF)
  2. Check "Include Metadata" is enabled
  3. Use EXIF viewer to confirm (some apps hide it)
  4. Re-export with different format if needed
  5. Try XMP sidecar for RAW files

Scans not matching with logged shots

  • • Ensure frame numbers align (check for blank frames)
  • • Verify correct roll is selected
  • • Manual match if auto-match fails
  • • Check scan order matches shooting order

App Crashes & Performance

App crashes on launch

  1. Force quit: Swipe up and remove from app switcher
  2. Restart iPhone (hold power + volume)
  3. Check for app updates in App Store
  4. Free up storage space if low
  5. Reinstall app (data is preserved in iCloud)

Slow performance

  • • Close other apps to free memory
  • • Archive old completed rolls
  • • Clear cache: Settings → Storage → Clear Cache
  • • Disable animations if on older device
  • • Update to latest iOS version
